PRIVACY NOTICE

Your information should be handled with purpose and care.

Effective date: 17 September 2026 · Khumalo Technological Enterprise (KTE)

This notice explains how KTE handles personal information submitted through ktesolutions.co.za and related enquiry communications. It is intended to support transparent processing under South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

Information we collect

When you submit an enquiry, KTE may collect your name, email address, telephone number, organisation name, the enquiry category and the information you include in your message. Security records may also include limited technical information, such as a pseudonymised network address, timestamps and request metadata.

Why we use it

KTE uses this information to assess and respond to your enquiry, communicate about a potential engagement, maintain appropriate business and security records, prevent abuse and comply with applicable legal obligations. Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract or guarantee that KTE will accept the proposed work.

Please avoid sensitive information

Do not submit passwords, identity numbers, banking details, medical information or other sensitive personal information through the public enquiry form. If such information becomes necessary during an engagement, KTE will identify an appropriate controlled channel.

Service providers and cross-border processing

KTE uses selected technology providers for website hosting, database services, security, email delivery and operational administration. Information may be processed or stored outside South Africa where these providers operate. KTE applies contractual, technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the service and information involved.

Retention and security

KTE keeps enquiry information only for as long as reasonably required for assessment, communication, recordkeeping, security and legal purposes. Access is restricted according to role, and KTE uses measures such as encrypted connections, access controls, audit records and protected administrative systems. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask KTE to confirm whether it holds your personal information, request access or correction, object to certain processing, request deletion where appropriate, or raise a concern about how your information is handled.
